Temperature measurement

Mesit manufactures a wide range of thermocouples and resistance thermoelements of advanced design and high reliability. The use of existing fabrication technologies, the accurate material selection, the application of suitable Quality Control and Quality Assurance Procedures are a guarantee for the service performance and reliability, even in most adverse environmental conditions.

Our thermoelements are designed for all service from conditions cryogenic to high temperature and both in mild and hostile environments. We can supply special design for thermocouples and RTD's including: very high temperature, high pressure, cold temperature and hard environmental conditions. There are available thermowells for applications with mechanical damage, chemical attack or corrosion usually produced in Stainless Steel, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy or other special high alloy steels. A large variety of thermoelement accessories are available as connectors, extension cables and connection heads in weather, explosion proof types and completed on request with 4-20 mA transmitter or A/D transducer. Production range includes elements for surface application in the welded or pressure attachment form and micro thermocouples. Metal sheathed RTD's and TC's for typical applications as: turbines, bearing temperature, power station, steam generators, diesel engines, atomic research, jet engines and jet cells. Rocket engines, glass melting, refineries, oil processing, catalytic reformers.

Nuclear Quality Assurance Procedures are commonly applied. Class IE (I.E.E.E.) and IEC thermoelements including: in-core thermocouples and cables assemblies for the nuclear reactor, multipoint reactor thermocouples and mechanical accessories (ASME design).

Mesit quality management system follow ISO 9001/1994 cd. and is applicable to: project management, design, procurement, manufacturing, inspection & testing, integrated logistic support, training & servicing.
